The background of the aggression between the two countries.

As per the trusted sources of various journalist networks, the entire operation of 7^th May took just 25 minutes for India to unleash 24 missiles that struck nine terror camps and killed 70 terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir and more than 60 sustained injuries. Reportedly, the missile attacks focused on installations in Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Bahawalpur, Rawalakot, Chakswari, Bhimber, Neelum Valley, Jhelum, and Chakwal, regions long believed by intelligence agencies to host terrorist camps. These locations were thought to be connected to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), two terrorist organizations accountable for numerous assaults in India throughout the years.

On the next day at 10.30 AM, the Indian officials on behalf of the government arranged an official press-meet where the Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, accompanied by Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, stated that the operation represented a "measured and proportionate" reaction to the terror attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. "Over the past thirty years, Pakistan has been developing terror infrastructure, such as recruitment hubs, training facilities, and launch sites throughout PoJK and Pakistan." "This mission aimed to deconstruct those installations and avert future assaults," she stated. Further, "Our intelligence suggested that more assaults on India are forthcoming." Therefore, coercion, both to discourage and avert, led India to assert its right to respond this morning to prevent further cross-border terrorism... Our actions were calculated and non-aggressive, appropriate, and accountable. "They concentrated on breaking down the infrastructure of terrorists," added by the Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.

The conflict continues, rather gets tensed

Thereafter, on 8^th May, in an interview with journalist Yalda Hakim on Sky News, Pakistan's Information and Broadcasting Minister, Attaullah Tarar, very firmly verbalized the pure lie that there were no terrorist camps in Pakistan, as per India’s claim. Pakistan is a victim of terrorism, and they are fighting terrorism on their western borders, i.e., with the Balochistan Liberation Front. Just after the interview in the International Media, even on the same day, an astonishing picture came where the Pakistani Army and Police were seen to have been doing mournful prayers before the corpses of terrorists and their families at their funeral, which ultimately proved the claim of their information minister, blatantly preposterous.

In the evening of 8^th May, India effectively thwarted a significant drone and missile attack from Pakistan targeting crucial military and civilian regions in the northern and western areas of India. At the night, Pakistan tried to deploy multiple drones at various points along the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border (IB), but the Indian Army effectively intercepted and neutralized more than 50 drones, an ANI report indicated, referencing sources. This was a component of an extensive counter-drone initiative conducted by the Army’s Air Defence units in regions including Udhampur, Samba, Jammu, Akhnoor, Nagrota, and Pathankot. The operation featured a significant deployment of L-70 guns, Zu-23mm, Schilka systems, and various advanced counter-UAS technologies, highlighting the Indian Army’s robust skills in addressing aerial threats. It was reported that the Indian military had also deployed sophisticated defense systems such as the S-400 ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ to halt the attacks in progress. According to recent reports, the attack resulted in no considerable harm on Indian territory. Although the precise count of drones and missiles intercepted remains undisclosed, officials had verified that all threats were successfully managed.

At first, loud sirens were audible in Akhnoor, Samba, Baramulla, Kupwara, and various surrounding regions of Jammu and Kashmir. Gradually, the noise from these air sirens echoed and the people of Jammu began recording the drones on video and posting the clips on social media. After the successful defense, the Ministry of Defence declared that India is “completely ready to safeguard its sovereignty and guarantee the security of its citizens.” According to reports, eight missiles were fired from Pakistan, aiming at the Jammu civil airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia, Akhnoor, and surrounding regions. Multiple border cities in northern and western India, such as Pathankot, Amritsar, and Jaisalmer, experienced total blackout on 8^th May when Pakistan deployed drones and missiles aimed at military facilities, particularly in Jammu and Pathankot. Jammu also faced a complete power failure along with loud explosions, probably due to shelling or missile actions.

States along with J&K that have been badly affected.

Apart from several places of Jammu and Kashmir, in the state of Rajasthan the areas like - Jaisalmer, together with Jodhpur, Barmer, and Sriganganagar, implemented complete blackouts. In Sriganganagar, authorities urged locals to remain indoors and turn off all lights because of a red alert. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma conducted a prompt security meeting earlier today to assess the conditions along the state's frontier with Pakistan. In Punjab, blackouts were enacted in multiple areas, including Pathankot, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Mohali, and Tarn Taran, along with the Union Territory of Chandigarh. In Jalandhar, at approximately 11:20 PM, security forces detected and disabled drones, as reported by PTI. Air raid sirens were heard in Pathankot, and blackouts commenced at around 8:30 PM. Local officials advised residents to remain indoors and adhere closely to safety measures. Similarly, in Gujarat, total blackouts were implemented in crucial border regions of Kutch and Banaskantha. Towns like Bhuj, Nalia, Nakhatrana, and Gandhidham were plunged into darkness as a precautionary step against possible attacks.

India's high-level tryst and Pak's impetration for international aid.

Subsequently, on 9th May, 2025, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh conducted an in-depth assessment of the national security situation with senior military officials, as tensions escalated between India and Pakistan amidst concerns of a larger conflict. In Chandigarh, on the morning of 9th May, air raid sirens were activated after an air warning was issued by the nearby Air Force station regarding a potential aerial assault. Fresh efforts and heavy bombardment by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan followed India's actions on Thursday morning, which aimed at Pakistani air defense systems in various cities, with one in Lahore being "neutralized." As per a Border Security Force (BSF) official, the BSF successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt along the Pakistan border in the Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) during the early hours of Thursday (May 8, 2025), resulting in the deaths of at least seven terrorists.

Surprisingly, in the midnight it came on the news that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on 9th May sanctioned the prompt release of roughly $1 billion to Pakistan through the current Extended Fund Facility, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) reported.

No Stop, More Destruction

On 10^th May, the Indian defence ministry announced via X that "Drones have been observed at 26 sites along the International Border and Line of Control with Pakistan." This includes alleged armed drones. The spots consist of Baramulla, Srinagar, Avantipora, Nagrota, Jammu, Ferozpur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Lalgarh Jatta, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, Kuarbet, and Lakhi Nala. Conclusion

Following the initiation of Operation Sindoor, Pakistan escalated tensions by violating the ceasefire and attacking civilian zones along the Jammu and Kashmir frontier late on 7^th May. The unexpected bombardment caused panic and disorder in surrounding villages, resulting in destruction of residences and community facilities. Footage from the impacted regions showed shattered windows, damaged walls, and dispersed rubble, emphasizing the severity and unpredictability of the assault. This infringement persisted on 8^th May and 9^th May despite missiles and drones being dispatched to target various locations in India. And it continues to this day as I write this on 11^th May. This is a continuously evolving situation, which requires keen observation by the diplomats, governments, and the decision makers of every political state of this world. War, so far it has a long-term good effect, it also carries its own thorns. So, every step must be taken very carefully, it is the time to stand with the government and to carry out every message sent by the ministry or other concerned government authorities.
