In a small dimly lit room echoing with melancholy, a young girl in her 20s lies asleep on his desk. The room of pink and tangerine walls is now reminiscent of what it once used to be. Kiran's mind wanders through all the work she has to do by today itself, chaos ensues inside her, her head running wild like an eel running from its prey.

All the insanity of this superficial world was to not stop her though, not today. Despite all the gloominess the surrounded her, she gathered herself and her trembling hands to a halt, a tranquil state, her mind emancipates. The darkness might compound her but the ideas in her head burn ever so brightly. Kiran believed unapologetically in a futuristic Bharat where science led over fanaticism and poverty a distant sight. Although to many what sounded like a utopian dream was almost a near certainty in Kiran's head.

While everyone around her chose the simplistic path of routine attendance in class and a constant run for the 75% goose. Kiran had chosen to work closely with the Kaliash Satyarthi Children's Foundation imparting education to the underprivileged and working day and night to spread awareness of the benevolent advantages of science among the rural people. While her friends drowned themselves in booze and took lines of white ecstasy in a nocturnal state, Kiran followed suit with her nocturnal instincts to develop ideas. Her nights were spent constantly imbursing ideas that would empower the nation.

Despite all that was thrown her way - the sleepless nights, the lack of support, the financial struggles - Kiran held strong to her beliefs of a utopic Bharat. And, as she looked forward, her dreams painted a different story in stark contrast to that of her gloomy room.
