Intelligence can also be considered as the high degree of freedom of mind.

Knowledge is like the keys of a piano. The more the keys, the more one can play them and produce different notes.

Similarly, the more the knowledge one possesses, the more imaginative, creative can the mind can be if free from common mental and thought blocks and freer the mind then the more intelligent one is he/she can play around with greater amount of data, the mind creating a higher number of permutations and combinations fast to think, understand and recognise better.

I have tried to list here some of the Traits of the Very Intelligent People I noticed:

Speed in all activities is their greatest plus point.

They think very quickly, i.e. the processor in their brains works at topmost speed _Made in Marsresearch based data! e.g. like that of Chess players.

They recongize patterns very fast. i.e. they compare fast, like code breakers.

They picturise or visualise things fast and clearly, so understand and learn fast.

Their mind is highly concentrated/ focused and separates grain from the husk very fast, i.e. zero in on the main points lightening fast and even intuitively.

They have an excellent memory

They easily relate/link what they know to other things very fast. High degree of correlation possible, observed right at a very young age of 12 months too (psychology).

They read/watch/listen a lot of news and possess very good GK.

They enjoy solving problems and and possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

They do not generally give much importance to their attire and appearance. e.g. Einstein. (So may not wear neat or good/suitable dresses, may not shave, or wear good/polished footwear, etc.)

They usually have a straight back (a straight back leads to deeper breathing, free blood circulation and an alert nervous system which leads to higher energy levels). e. g. Professors. IAS officer.

Many also act very fast. (Physical intelligence)

They are usually quite friendly and unassuming guys/girls. (usually low ego, so childlike in nature many a times!)

They are normally talkative but some are very brief and pointed/witty/ quippant in their speech.

They think and communicate clearly. They make excellent presentations.

They penetrate/analyse deeply. Their mind works like a logic machine, i.e. they are extremely good at logic.

They are full of hope and alternative ways and keep trying till they succeed.

Many of them do not eat well, so may be skinny.

They bear a smiling face with sparkling eyes.

They are experimentative and sometimes mischievous.

They can be very adventurous and bold but some are very shy or modest.

They do not like to beg.

They usually do not fear anybody.

They generally do not consider themselves to be less than anybody.

Others usually tail them, they don't tail others.

They are highly imaginative, creative and can be poets when they reach a sublime state of mind.

They have a strong will power and work hard till they achieve what they want.

The best of them even complete the questions being asked and answer them even before the questions are fully completed. I have witnesses many such ones personally.

They are good team players. They get along with others easily and are of adjustable nature.

They are good planners/organisers.

They don't like being sentimental/melodramatic.

They appreciate the good in others and mention it.

They do multitasking (such as watching TV, eating food, playing on Tab, talking on phone, etc. simultaneously).

They are very good at arguments and do not accept defeat easily but accept defeat graciously unless they belong to the evil kind.

They enjoy music and sports but are usually not very active physically.

They mostly top in academics.

They are innovators and inventors.

They are usually not wise (wisdom is different from intelligence) and so can be hasty. (I have written a separate article on Wisdom on Quora)

Some are very adamant.

They are highly energetic, optimistic and hilarious.

Many have strong desire for physical pleasures.

They enjoy action, thriller movies.

They generally prefer sour and or spicy food as sour food is known to stimulate thoughts.

They are usually late risers.

They like to be left alone when working seriously.

They are curious to know things and ask a lot of questions to understand.

They like to travel a lot as they want to see and experience new things always.

Some become spiritual late in life.

They may generally sleep late, can be owls- nocturnal animals.

They are usually not very good at social skills.

Many are lazy bugs and have EUREKA moments during such states.

Western geniuses are usually blue eyed white inverted crescent part at the base of thumb nailand Eastern geniuses have a ().

Many have some addictions such as reading, playing certain games, sex, drinking, smoking, etc. Cling to those things which free up their mind.

They can be good teachers as they simplify things for others easily.

They ruminate (naturally think about or revise the day's or past events before sleeping, about 5% of population can do so).

Intelligence is generally masculine while wisdom is feminine.

A lethal combination of intelligence and wisdom (the two different aspects of personality - Male and female qualities when combined/awakened in either a male or female makes one perfect) makes one a successful leader, a great politician, or a highly analytical thinker who can rule the world. Such a person is Emotionally Intelligent.
