The criteria can be as follows:

>>No. of languages acted in.

>>Popularity in different language regions.

>>Variety of roles acted in.

>>Can one perform love scenes with same flair as fight scenes?

>>Can one perform as well in traditional dance as in Western dance (Indian requirement)?

>>No. of awards regional/national and international won/nominated.

>>Humbleness as an actor.

>>What do one's peers say about him/her.

>>Can he or she make tears roll down your eyes or make you laugh your heart out?

>>Can he/she choke you with emotions of love, valour, anger, etc.?

>>Can they fill your heart with pride?

If we consider simply the variety of roles, I really don't know if anybody can really match KamalHaasan .
